Coffee With Mates was created to offer an alternative to the single direction transaction of an everyday coffee where the consumer receives and that's the end of it. By positioning Coffee With Mates as a proudly local producer of Australian-grown coffee, we aimed to tap into a market that had not yet undergone a modern branded experience. Our goal was to create a brand that speaks directly to the consumer and fosters a strong emotional connection.
The Coffee With Mates brand was designed with a warm and inviting colour scheme that evokes a sense of community and connection. We took on a big bold orange to do the heavy lifting and the rest of the pallette was much more complimentary. Key UI decisions were made to ensure the brand's messaging and values were communicated clearly and effectively across all touchpoints, digital and print. The technical hurdles were overcome by creating a seamless ordering and tracking system that allowed customers to easily track their purchases and see the positive impact they were making on the environment.
Our approach to launching Coffee With Mates into the market was focused on creating a strong brand identity that differentiates it from competitors. We positioned Coffee With Mates as a brand that is committed to giving back to the planet with every KG of coffee sold, delivering a circular purchasing experience that is easily tracked and executed, while also delivering on environmental impact. By doing this, we were able to create a brand that stands out in the market and resonates with customers.
